Where is Sarah Palin

Where is Sarah Palin? Where is Gov. Bobby Jindal? It has been alleged that the Minnesota Vikings cut punter Chris Kluwe because of his public support for gay rights. Wouldn’t this be another example of "free speech" being endangered in this country?

Perhaps not. To the best of my memory neither Palin nor the Governor came to the defense of free speech when the United Methodist Church defrocked Rev. Frank Schaefer for his public support for gay rights. In reality I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since both Chris Kluwe and Rev. Schaefer took a public stance in support of gay rights.

What Sarah Palin and Gov. Bobby Jindal have shown here is that the issue is not free speech, the issue is Political Correctness. They have show PC to be a two sided coin. One side are the liberals, on the other side are the conservatives. Neither Chris Kluwe nor Rev. Schaefer were politically correct in the view of Palin or the Governor, so there was no free speech issue involved.
